Our little bear is going to join us any day now and one aspect of this pregnancy that has consumed my thoughts "what I'm packing in my hospital bag". I can't pinpoint why I've over analyzed this minor part of pregnancy but I think its because so much of being pregnant and giving birth is so unpredictable. I want to have control over one thing, my hospital bag. I know I can't truly be prepared for whats to come but I've done my part in this. I've watched countless Youtube videos, pinned check list and asked other mamas their experiences and I think I've done a good at gathering all the necessities. I don't live close enough to the hospital where if I forgot something someone can easily go grab it, therefore I covered all my bases. 

A lot of what I packed/ didn't pack is based on my hospital and what they will provide for me. When we took a hospital tour a few months ago, the nurse gave a brief summary of what should be in your hospital bag for mom, dad and baby. For example, I know I don't need to pack diapers or wipes because the hospital provides that. I won't be packing a bottle or pacifier because I do aim to breastfeed and was told by the hospital it was unnecessary to bring. 

I'm a first time mom, I have no shame in admitting I have no clue what I'm doing. It has been great help reading others packing list. I made checklist below you can pin or print out, I hope this helps someone else out there. After I give birth I'll update you all on how I did with my packing.
