OUTFIT DETAILS Sweater: c/o Miss Selfridge Jeans: Levi's Shoes: old target Purse: Louis Vuitton Hat: H&M Necklaces: c/o The Silverwren After living in Scotland for a year I found myself constantly searching for the perfect jumper. A good sweater is a basic piece in any wardrobe and personally I always like to have my sweaters with some added detail. I am so in love with this sweater from Miss Selfridges because of the unique detail on the sleeve. I think this a great alternative to the cold shoulder sweater trend if you don't like showing your shoulders and you can add another layer underneath like a fishnet sleeve or a striped long sleeve top. I can't wait to keep wearing this all season long and paring it with skirts and leggings. I also have to mention my beautiful necklaces from The Silver Wren . I found her on Etsy such a long time ago and have been in love with her pieces ever since. I have to say I am a huge supporter of Etsy, it is a beautiful platform for people to share their talents and creativity. It also allows people to be their own boss and create their own business. I really appreciate that. My necklaces are so beautiful and go great together. With some of the pieces The Silver Wren allows you to pick what finish you want and what length you want as well, which is great because it allows you to make them really unique. A huge trend that has been happening is layering your dainty necklaces and I am loving it because you can really add a nice detail to a simple everyday look. I definitely think you should check out The Silver Wren especially as gift options for the holidays. I hope you have a great day, XX JOAN |

| WHAT I'M WEARING Top: asos similar here Bags: Vintage Louis Vuitton Jacket: Anthropologie similar here Jeans: asos Sunglasses: ray ban Shoes: zara Choker: etsy Hey everyone, Happy Monday, I just have to tell you how much I love Mondays. I know that's probably an unpopular opinion but I just love starting a fresh new week on a productive note. These pictures are from our last week in Edinburgh. We took the time to just walk around the city and just wandering about. We went to Dynamic Earth which was a lot of fun, if you have kids and live in the area I would try and make it out there, I'm sure they would enjoy it since it is very interactive. It's located off of the royal mile and next to Arthur's Seat and Holyrood Palace. I wanted to talk to you about my color palette because it's changed so much since I first started blogging. When I was younger I was all about the color! I never leaned towards blacks or just neutral tones and loved brights and prints. Although I love a pop of color in my outfits, I don't want to just wear bright tones all the time. Now in days I'm all about the neutral tones, I think they work so well for a more capsule wardrobe, which isn't something I have and I'm starting to build. Neutral tones help you mix and match items in your closet and it makes it easier to use more of your clothes in different ways rather than in just one outfit. What about you, are you all about that black wardrobe life, are you full of color, or do you love the beiges like myself. I hope you have the best start of your week. Joan |
