LACE UP/ GLADIATOR SANDALS
I've seen this trend come and go in the last ten years and it definitely becomes the most popular during summer time. So my advice for this trend is to it but invest smart. Don't pay so much money for a sandal you'll regret once summer is over. I attached some of my favorite sandals for the season that you'll be able to wear with a summer dress, shorts romper and skirts.
ESPADRILLES
When I worked at J.crew years ago I noticed we always had espadrilles roll out for the summer months usually branding with Soludos which if you aren't familiar with Soludos they specialize on espadrilles and I honestly couldn't stand them. I always associated espadrilles with a more mature women and thought they weren't young or fun to wear. Since then espadrilles have gotten a face-lift especially this season, they are so great to wear with just about anything and can turn any outfit into a summer look, I would say not to take theses so serious and just have some shoe fun. These are my favorite.
WEDGES
Wedges are the perfect day-time to night-time shoe for the summer, they are great to be dressed up or down. Wedges are always popular for the spring and summer months, because they never go out of style. This season the wedge has gotten some trendy features, when you are shopping for wedges this year you'll see that some feature the trends I mentioned earlier, so search for espadrille wedges, or wedges with suede fabric and lace up style. I would say to invest in a pair you'll have for years to come, like I mentioned already wedges don't ever go out of style here are a few of my favorites for this year.
