DRESS: C/O SOEL BOUTIQUE BAG: CULT GAIA How hot is it where you live? It is close to unbearable in Florida. I haven't been in Florida for an entire Summer in years and I think I forgot that you can't really do many activities because of the heat. The weather is definitely a factor in my mood and what I wear as I'm sure it is for many people. I find that when its boiling hot outside it is so difficult to still be modest and covered up in an everyday basis. And frankly, I don't feel like being cute and getting dressed up because I don't want to be a sweaty mess. I found this dress on Soel's online shop and thought it would be perfect to wear during summer. I love that it doesn't cling to my body and because it is a wrap dress you can make it as tight or loose as you desire. I like wrapping it tight on my waist because it suits my body shape the best. I have to say, I wore it this weekend while exploring West Palm Beach with family. We walked around in the middle of the day, ate outside and although I was hot from the heat, the dress was so light and airy. I didn't get sweat marks and felt so comfortable in it all day. I'm so happy I have it in my closet and since I live in Florida it stays warm all year long. I get to wear this dress over and over again. It would be great for church or casual events. The dress also comes in yellow and black, and has pockets, which is just a major plus for me. Do you also consider what the weather is going to be like and the activity for the day? Or do you just wear whatever you feel like styling?

Dress:c/o Chi Chi London Similar HERE Sandals:Zara(old) Bag: Cult Gaia Sunglasses: Similar HERE Happy Monday, I'm sharing this look from last week from a Yacht Show event. Chase and I were invited by the company, Yacht Life to the Miami Yacht Show which was my first time going since being a little girl. They hosted us in a beautiful home right on Miami Beaches intercostal. The Spanish style home was covered in ivy and had the best view of the downtown skyline. It was a beautiful day to spend outside. Since the day was warm I wanted something casual and light and this dress was perfect for the event. I'm so in love with the top of the dress. The off the shoulder ruffles really add a detailed element. It reminds me of a dress Carrie wore in Sex and the City that had the same silhouette. I like this dress because you can dress it up with different accessories and a pair of heels. Next time I wear it I'll probably do a grey open toe heeled sandal to compliment the tones of the dress. You can shop the CHI CHI LONDON dress edit I created below with all of my favorite dress of their collection. Thanks so much for stopping by, Joan

Top: c/o Miss Pap// Jeans: Asos// Shoes: forever21// Bag: Etsy// Glasses// Earrings// Hey everyone, The Royal Botanical Gardens is one of my favorite spots in the city. I always mention how I like to escape the city madness once in a while and the Botanical gardens is the perfect spot. I go so often and every season of the year the garden transforms into something new, I can't say which is my favorite since its always so different. Some highlights of the gardens are first and foremost its free admission. The first part of the glasshouse is also free and you can pay to enter the rest if you wish. Which brings me to my second part, the greenhouses are so beautiful and interesting. Theres over five parts to the glasshouse and each part shows a different environment. You go from tropical to desert and each section showing the different plants that grow in those environments. Chase and I just went this week and saw the garden in full summer bloom, the sun was shining and it made for the best day out. Have you ever been to the Royal Botanical Gardens in Edinburgh, or is there a garden near you that you like to visit? Have a lovely week, Joan
